Annuity Calculator
Model a stream of equal payments with a starting amount, rate and schedule. Results are estimates, not a quote or financial advice.
How does an annuity calculator work?
It applies a fixed nominal annual rate divided by the payment frequency to a series of equal payments. Ordinary payments happen at each period’s end; annuity-due payments happen at the beginning. It does not model fees, taxes, variable rates or a specific insurer’s contract.
Frequently asked questions

Are my values uploaded?
No. The calculation runs in this browser tab and values are not uploaded or saved by this tool.
What is the difference between present and future value?
Present value estimates what a payment stream is worth now. Future value estimates how an initial balance and recurring contributions may accumulate by the end of the schedule.
Does this predict an annuity contract payout?
No. It is general arithmetic with the assumptions you enter. Actual products may include fees, guarantees, taxes and terms this calculator does not model.
