What density should I use?
The default density is only an estimate. Replace it with the value from your asphalt supplier; mixtures and compaction vary.
How are extra material and cost estimated?
Extra material is added to the compacted volume before mass and cost are estimated. Cost is tonnes multiplied by your entered price per metric tonne; delivery, labor, taxes and other fees are excluded.
