Codebreaker Logic Game

Deduce a hidden code using clear clues after each guess. Choose a daily puzzle or set up a practice round with the code length and repeat rules that suit you.

The puzzle runs on this device. Practice settings and guesses are not uploaded or saved.

Use the tool

The rules and daily puzzle are the same worldwide; only the interface language changes.

Set up a practice game

Clue example: If a guess gets 1 exact and 2 elsewhere, one symbol is in the correct slot and two more are present in different slots. The feedback does not identify them.

How to play

Choose symbols for every slot, then submit your guess. Exact matches mean the symbol and position are right; misplaced matches mean the symbol is in the code but elsewhere.

Use the clues

After each guess, the game reports how many symbols are exactly right and how many appear in the secret code in another position. Repeated symbols count only as often as they occur in the secret. The clues do not reveal which positions they refer to.

Common questions

Does the language setting change the puzzle?

No. Every language uses the same symbol rules and clue logic. The daily code is the same around the world for the same date and settings.

Can symbols repeat?

In practice, you choose whether repeats are allowed. Daily puzzles use the displayed setting so everyone can compare the same challenge.

Are color names required to play?

No. Every color also has a distinct shape symbol, so you can use the shapes if colors are hard to distinguish.

Game settings

This is a single-player logic puzzle with no account, live ranking or opponent. Daily puzzles are generated on-device from the UTC date; clearing local browser data does not keep a record.
