Example
A trump Jack beats every other trump. Its card value is 20 points; the trump Nine is next in rank and worth 14. The last trick adds 5 points, bringing the deal to 157 points in total.
How it works
This page follows the no-meld, no-multiplier 12-deal tournament format. The CPU only receives its own hand and the cards already played in the current trick; it cannot inspect another hand to choose a move. The match and optional saved game remain on this device.
Frequently asked questions
How many people play Schieber?
Four players form two teams. Partners sit opposite each other. Here, you play with one local CPU partner against two local CPU opponents.
Can I pass the contract?
The forehand may pass once; their partner must then choose trump, tops-down or bottoms-up. The forehand still leads the first trick.
Does this version include melds or trump multipliers?
No. It follows the published 12-deal tournament format, which has neither meld bonuses nor multipliers.
Is my hand uploaded or saved automatically?
No hand is uploaded. Saving is optional and stores the current match only in this browser on this device.
Limits and accuracy
Schieber has local and tournament variations. This version uses the 12-deal tournament scoring rules: no melds or multipliers. It is a casual offline opponent, not an online multiplayer service or a gambling game.
