Paver calculator

Estimate the pavers and base material for a rectangular paved area. Set your repeating layout module, material allowance and optional prices.

Module dimensions should describe one complete repeating section, including the joint spacing. Keep the entered orientation aligned with the surface length and width.

Planning estimate only. It counts full repeating modules; edge cuts may create reusable offcuts, so actual quantities can be lower or higher. It does not create a cut/layout plan or assess drainage, soil, load, frost depth or local construction rules. Verify dimensions, product coverage and base requirements with the supplier or a qualified installer.

How does this paver estimate work?

The calculator rounds up complete repeat modules in the orientation you enter, then multiplies by the pavers in each module. It also estimates the edge perimeter and base-layer volume from the full surface area.

Frequently asked questions

How does this paver estimate work?

The calculator rounds up complete repeat modules in the orientation you enter, then multiplies by the pavers in each module. It also estimates the edge perimeter and base-layer volume from the full surface area.

Are my measurements uploaded?

No. The estimate runs in this browser. Measurements and prices are not sent to a server or saved by this tool.

How many pavers do I need?

Enter the paved area size and the dimensions of one complete repeating module, then enter how many pavers it contains. The calculator rounds up modules to cover each side and applies your optional extra percentage.

Does the estimate include border cuts?

It counts full repeat modules in the entered orientation. It reports the perimeter for edging, but it does not plan cuts or determine whether offcuts can be reused.
