No. It only reads the text and URLs you enter in this browser. It does not fetch robots.txt, visit URLs, or upload your data.

Does robots.txt stop people from opening a page?

No. It gives crawler instructions; it does not protect private data. Use authentication or server access controls for private pages.

Does an allowed URL have to appear in search results?

No. Allowing a crawl does not guarantee that a search engine will crawl, index or rank a URL.

Does this tool check Google, Bing or another crawler live?

No. It previews common rules for the crawler token you enter. It does not contact any search engine or website.
