How to use it
Import a GPX route, review nearby toll stations in travel order, confirm each station and collection direction, choose the vehicle group, then check the tariff date and any discount with the toll operator.
How the estimate works
Station locations and published tariffs come from Statens vegvesen’s open National Road Data Bank (NVDB). GPX matching uses a 45 m proximity suggestion only; it cannot prove a road crossing or toll direction. You choose the passages that belong to your trip. The estimator applies available vehicle-group rates, entered Norway-local passage times, a verified discount you supply and recorded hourly passage rules.
Common questions
Does the GPX file leave my device?
No. The file is read locally in the browser and is not sent to a server.
Does a nearby toll station mean I passed it?
No. A route within 45 metres creates a suggestion only. Roads can run close together, and the match does not establish direction. Review and confirm every toll passage.
Are all electric-vehicle tariffs included?
No. NVDB has a separate small-electric-car tariff for only some stations. Where it is missing, the small-car rate is shown as a reference and clearly flagged; check the operator or enter its current tariff.
Does this include my tag discount?
Enter a discount only after checking it with your toll provider or the project operator. Discounts vary by project and vehicle.
How current are the rates?
The included NVDB snapshot was retrieved on 17 October 2026. You can request a free refresh from the public NVDB export at any time. Check the toll operator’s linked page before travel; the dataset provider does not specify an update interval.
Scope and limits
Norway road tolls only · included NVDB snapshot retrieved 17 October 2026, with an optional free refresh on request. This is an estimate for confirmed toll-station passes, not navigation or an official bill. The route is matched offline against station points and may miss or suggest a nearby station; manually verify the road, direction, tariff, time rules, discount and vehicle classification with the toll operator. It excludes ferry charges, private-road tolls, exemptions, charges outside the supplied route and any tariff change not yet published in NVDB. The dataset provides an electric small-car rate for only a subset of stations. Page language does not change the Norwegian location or toll rules.
