Example
In 2027 the mandatory entry threshold is CHF 23,040 and the coordination deduction is CHF 26,880. For an annual salary of CHF 80,000, the minimum coordinated salary is CHF 53,120. The credited savings rate depends on age; projected interest and retirement conversion are editable assumptions.
How it works
Your pension fund can insure more salary, credit different interest, charge risk and administration costs, and offer different retirement terms. This tool does not guess your fund rules or calculate your extra-mandatory benefits. Use the mandatory BVG values from your certificate and ask your pension fund for a personal forecast.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the amount my pension fund will pay?
No. It is a simplified mandatory-minimum scenario. Your pension fund certificate and personal forecast contain your actual insured salary, balance, interest and conversion terms.
Does it include extra-mandatory benefits?
No. Those rules differ by pension fund and must not be inferred from federal BVG minimums.
Is the 2027 interest rate 1.75%?
Not as of 17 October 2026. The BVG Commission recommended 1.75%; the Federal Council still had to make the decision. The interest assumption is editable.
Why is the whole salary not insured?
Mandatory BVG uses an entry threshold, coordination deduction and an upper salary limit. A pension fund may insure more under its regulations.
Does the projection include employer and employee contributions?
It projects age-related retirement credits. How those credits are financed and split between employer and employee depends on the pension fund.
Are my numbers uploaded?
No. Calculation and CSV export run in your browser.
Limits and accuracy
Use realistic values. The tool explains assumptions and does not replace professional, official or safety advice where that applies.
