A turn can grow or disappear
Keep a scoring 5, roll the other five dice and add only scoring dice from each roll. Bank the turn total when it is safe enough, or risk another roll. A roll with no scoring dice loses the points from that turn, not the total already banked.
Pick the scoring table before you start
Farkle has many house-rule variations. This game labels the chosen table and does not infer it from your language or location. The Fixed table uses single 1 = 100, single 5 = 50, triples of 1 = 300 and triples of 2–6 = face × 100; four/five/six of a kind = 1,000/2,000/3,000; a 1–6 straight, three pairs, four of a kind plus a pair, and two triplets use the displayed combination scores. The Doubling table uses triple 1 = 1,000 and doubles a triple’s value for each matching die beyond three; it includes a straight, three-pair and two-triplet bonus, but not the fixed table’s four-plus-pair bonus. Combinations must be made from one roll. The first player to reach the chosen target wins immediately; this version does not add a final round.
Questions
Are these the only Farkle rules?
No. Scoring combinations, entry thresholds, target scores and endgame rules vary by group. This page shows two explicit scoring tables and lets you choose the entry and target values.
Can I play without computer opponents?
Yes. Choose Solo practice to play and undo your last action locally. Undo is unavailable in games against the computer.
What happens when a roll scores nothing?
The turn ends and its unbanked points are lost. Points banked on earlier turns remain.
Does the computer use a strong strategy?
No. Its simple local rules choose legal scoring dice and sometimes bank. It is a practice opponent, not an optimal-play solver.
Are my results uploaded?
No. Rolls, game state and scores stay in this browser unless you choose to download the score sheet.
Scope and limitations
This is a local practice game, not online multiplayer. The two scoring tables are stated on the page; other house rules such as different bust penalties or a last-chance round are not included. Computer choices are intentionally simple.
