Mood Tracker

Make a brief daily check-in, add optional tags or a note, and review only the entries you record. Nothing is saved unless you choose local storage.

Optional emotion tags

This choice applies only while this page is open. Turning it off removes the saved browser copy but keeps this tab’s entries in memory. No account or cloud sync. Shared-device access and browser backups may expose locally saved notes.

This is a personal reflection log, not a diagnostic or treatment tool. A number or trend cannot explain why a mood changed. If you feel unsafe or need urgent support, contact local emergency or crisis services.

How do I use this mood tracker?

Choose a date and a mood from your own 1–5 scale, then optionally select emotion tags or write a short note. Record one check-in per date; selecting an existing calendar day lets you edit it. The calendar and weekly summary describe recorded entries only and do not interpret them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use this mood tracker?

Choose a date and a mood from your own 1–5 scale, then optionally select emotion tags or write a short note. Record one check-in per date; selecting an existing calendar day lets you edit it. The calendar and weekly summary describe recorded entries only and do not interpret them.

Are mood notes uploaded or saved automatically?

No. Entries begin in page memory and are not uploaded. They disappear when the page closes unless you explicitly enable saving in this browser. Local notes may be visible to other people with access to this device or its browser profile. Export a JSON backup if you want a portable copy.

Does the mood tracker diagnose or explain mood changes?

No. It stores the ratings and notes you choose to record. The calendar and averages are descriptive only; they cannot identify causes, diagnose a condition or replace professional care.

Where are my notes stored?

They stay in this tab unless you switch on local saving. With consent, a copy is stored in this browser profile on this device, not in an account or cloud. Turn saving off to remove that copy, or download a JSON backup before moving devices.
